Rector’s Profile

Born on April 6, 1964, Dr. Olayiwola Adeosun attended Seventh-Day Adventist Grammar School, Ile Ife, Osun State from 1978 to 1984. He later attended The Polytechnic, Ibadan, Oyo State for his National Diploma in Science Laboratory Technology from 1985 to 1987.
He proceeded to Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State, where he bagged B.sc (Ed) Hons in Economics with Second Class Upper Division in 1992, M,Ed (Management) in 2001 and a Ph.D(Economics of Education) in 2016 from the same University.

He rose to the post of Vice Principal in 1999 when Grace Institute of Secretarial and Management Studies attained the status of Polytechnic and transformed to Grace Polytechnic.
He served as the first Head of Department of Business Administration and later Head of Department (General Studies). He rose from Lecturer II in 1999 to Chief Lecturer in 2012.
He served as Director of School, Deputy Rector as well as Member and Chairman of various Committees in the Polytechnic. He became Acting Rector of the Polytechnic in 2012 and was substantiated in December, 2015. He currently consults for Tertiary Institutions of Learning on program mounting and accreditation/re-accreditation exercises.

An Associate Member, Nigeria Institute of Management (NIM); Fellow, Association for Information and Management Science (AIMS); Certified Fellow Member, International Professional Managers Association (IPMA- UK). Former National Education and Professional Development Officer of the IPMA-UK, Nigeria Forum. He is currently the President, IPMA-UK, Lagos Western Zone.
He has equally taught at Lagos State University, Ojo, Lagos State Polytechnic, Ikorodu. Ogun State University (now Olabisi Onabanjo University) Ago-Iwoye, Ogun State; Federal College of Education (Technical) Akoka as well as the National Open University, Nigeria.
